Our Story

Oxford Treehouse Gallery is located in beautiful Lafayette County only seven miles from the Oxford, MS Square. Walter and Vivian Neill's vision for the acreage they acquired began with building a blacksmith shop in 2000. Walter then built a painting studio/gallery nestled in the trees (some actually supporting the porches) in 2005 and the chicken palace in 2008 completed the evolution. The art gallery doubled as their home and studio until construction (by Walter and crew) was finished on their house on the same property in 2013.

“We opened Oxford Treehouse Gallery to share this space with other artists and to provide the public with a fine art experience in an unconventional gallery setting. We strive to fill the gallery with art that we love and appreciate - that is both functional within the home and adds to the simple beauty of everyday life.”

We live and work on the surrounding property and are HAPPY to OPEN ANYTIME!

Regular gallery hours are Thursday - Saturday, noon to five p.m. Contact us at 662-236-1667.
