Frank Estrada

A Memphis native, Frank Estrada is an artist, printmaker, illustrator, graphic designer, animator, and 3D artist living in Oxford, MS. He earned a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Printmaking and a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology at the University of Mississippi. He fell in love with Printmaking after taking his first-ever Introduction to Printmaking course at the University of Mississippi. His main focus in printmaking is the relief technique. Heavily involved in the community, Estrada enjoys sharing the process and techniques with others.

His relief prints are composed of imagery from his Mexican heritage and Southern upbringing. He carves images out of both linoleum and woodblocks. They vary in size from 4x6 inches to 8x4 feet! Estrada has displayed artwork throughout the country and currently has an exhibition at Mississippi Arts + Entertainment Experience (The MAX) in Meridian, MS, now through July 9, 2022, called "Family Legacy."

He has received several honors: Emerging Leaders of Color for South Arts (2022), former Mississippi Arts Commission Visual Arts Fellowship Grant recipient (2016), and Double Decker Arts Festival featured artist (2015).
