We are excited to participate in the 2018 Oxford Fiber Arts Festival! Last year, we were honored to have weavings from Mary Zicafoose (by the way, you can still catch her work at the University Museum until February 10th!). Join us this year on Friday, January 26th from 5-8 for a reception for the new fiber artists and works from past favorites. Read on to learn more…
We’d like to welcome Pauline Crouse of Brown Bag Bears to the Oxford Treehouse Gallery. Pauline Crouse is a fiber artist whose works includes needle felted paintings, which she describes as a process that uses barbed needles to matt and interlock wool fibers (Merino Cross and New Zealand Corrieadale) together, blending colors to make a portrait.
As always, we are so grateful for Andi Bedsworth, the Oxford Fiber Arts Festival, and the Yoknapatawpha Arts Council for inviting us to participate in this wonderful event!
Check out the schedule for the festival for more information about some of the other great workshops and exhibits!
